Friday the 13th....!!~~!!

Today is Friday the 13th...

The sixth day of the week...and another number 13 both have a foredofing reputations said to date from the amcient times....It is supposed to be the most unlucky day...as there are alot many accidents related to this combination of two...a day friday and number 13....

The superstition does have deep, compelling roots, however, and the origins help explain why he belief is so widespread today and i searched alot to find the events happen on this day....so plz find these events occured arond the world..

* Christians have traditionally been wary of Fridays because Jesus was crucified on a Friday. Additionally, some theologians hold that Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit on a Friday, and that the Great Flood began on a Friday. In the past, many Christians would never begin any new project or trip on a Friday, fearing they would be doomed from the start.

*Sailors were particularly superstitious in this regard, often refusing to ship out on a Friday. According to unverified legend (very likely untrue), the British Navy commissioned a ship in the 1800s called H.M.S. Friday, in order to quell the superstition. The navy selected the crew on a Friday, launched the ship on a Friday and even selected a man named James Friday as the ship's captain. Then, one Friday morning, the ship set off on its maiden voyage... and disappeared forever. A similar, entirely factual story is the harrowing flight of Apollo 13.
*As we all know the attach on our parliament is also on 13th of december....

*Even people related to films never use to release there movies on 13th the friday...that’s y this friday movies got released on thursday....there is an instant with this..as the movie Border released on 13th friday.. and there is a fire in Uphaar cinema tragedy...! and many many events related to this date 13th friday.. I don’t know we should interlink these incidents with this date or its all by chance this happens..? still people all over the world live with this orthodox reality....

I don’t know...these believer’s are right or not...but in India people are more of orthodox culture..."It all revolves around superstition," Bonebright said in a press release. "In the case of Friday the 13th, people have been told it will be a bad day, so they selectively remember all the bad events that occur throughout the day."

So if you get fired from your job today, or smash up your car, you can blame it on Friday the 13th. Superstition, Bonebright said, provides us with an excuse for explaining away our mistakes and disgraces. In other words, it's an easy way to rationalize the screw-ups for which we ourselves are ultimately responsible.
